Shipping

We use a variety of couriers and shippers appropriate for the size of instruments being purchased.
For smaller items (sticks, mallets, small instruments, spares and accessories) we use  Royal Mail (3-5 days). This does not include weekends. For bigger boxes/ instruments we use  a variety of couriers- DPD, UPS or DHL as required. Some couriers do not take large items like timpani heads.

Larger items are sent using UPS or DHL. Usually next day (3 day service to parts of Scotland)


Timpani, Bass drums, xylophone, marimbas and all 'oversized' shipments are sent via a pallet service direct from our suppliers. This can take 2-3 days for delivery.

We may part-ship orders when some items are out of stock. We will notify you of this but will only ship with your prior agreement.
Please be aware that many of our products are produced and manufactured overseas and our UK suppliers may have to wait for their stocks to be replenished before before being able to deliver to us. Please ask us and we will try (to the best of our ability) to advise you of departure and delivery dates for your order.

EU and Overseas orders.
Please note that customers will now (from 1/1/2021) be responsible  for paying any import taxes and duty levied on goods shipped to EU and non-EU countries. Please check with your local Customs Office for rates and further details of possible costs involved.
These charges will depend on the receiving country, the value of the item and whether it is a gift or commercial goods.

Please note that we cannot be held liable for non-delivery by third party companies, and if items are returned, the cost of re-sending will be charged.
